Four Poster Bedroom: £98.00 per night for two people including breakfast

Located at the rear of the house, this spacious and tranquil room benefits from wonderful dual-aspect views across the courtyard and rear gardens to the dramatic Black Mountains beyond. As well as its traditional king-sized four-poster bed with opulent drapes, this room also incorporates a large, comfortable sitting area where guests can relax and enjoy the views. The en-suite bathroom, with traditional free- standing bath tub, has been decorated in a distinctive Indian style, with exotic carved dark wood features.

De Mortimer Suite: £108.00 per night for two people including breakfast

It’s hardly surprising that honeymooners always want to book this magnificent suite. With its ancient oak timbered walls in unusual 16th century chevron design, and a centrepiece king-sized four-poster bed, this is quite simply a dream setting for any kind of special occasion stay. The ornately-carved bed is of Elizabethan design, and is complemented by the medieval-themed décor scheme featuring classic tapestries and rose carvings which perfectly complement the original panelled wall. There is a generous-sized sitting area, and the en-suite bathroom also features traditional oak beams and a deep, free-standing bath.

French Room: £88.00 per night for two people including breakfast

This room takes its name and its design influence from the lovely antique French double bed, and its soft furnishings, which feature classic Toile de Jouy fabrics. The light and airy dual-aspect room benefits from views over the pretty gardens at the front of the house, and from there, across the attractive landscape of fields towards the nearby village of Eardisley. The en-suite bathroom is cool and contemporary, with stylish fittings and a blue and white mosaic tile finish.

The Long Gallery

Located on the eastern side of the house, the light and airy Long Gallery makes an ideal venue for private family occasions such as anniversaries, Christenings and small wedding receptions, as well as corporate events.

This magnificent character, oak-beamed banqueting hall with its high vaulted ceiling seats up to 35 guests, and in warmer weather we can also provide a small marquee to accommodate extra numbers.

We use local professional caterers and florists to help make your event a thoroughly memorable and stress-free experience. The intimate atmosphere of the Long Gallery also makes it perfect for private dinner parties. Alternatively, we can also offer House Party Weekends for 8-10 guests with two nights bed and breakfast and fine dining at the Long Gallery. This provides an enjoyable way to indulge in a relaxing break with friends or family.
